Fantasy
Fantasy ist Literaturgattung, die das Setting ihrer Geschichten in der Mythologie und den Sagen vorzugsweise des Mittelalters verortet.
Wie die verwandte Phantastik wird in der Fantasy-Literatur die Geltung der Naturgesetze zumindest teilweise außer Kraft gesetzt. Im Gegensatz zur Phantastik legt die Fantasy hierbei jedoch den Schwerpunkt auf die Aushebelung von Ursache und Wirkung (Magie) und der Evolution (z.B. Drachen und ähnliche Wesen). Als Löwenherz-Thema verwenden wir darum Fantasy nicht als Unter-, sondern als Gegenbegriff zur Phantastik.
