Readers interested in religious conspiracies, particularly those for which christianity is held responsible, will find this redemption of Lucifer als »Lightbringer« and »enlightener« fascinating. The author sets out to correct misconceptions about Lucifer, who, she claims, is not synonymous with the devil or Satan. The 1st part of her book deals with Lucifer's relationship with the feminine and his subsequent »fall« from morning star to bringer of hell as a result of his feminization, while the 2nd traces Lucifer's emergence in history as Satan. The principles Lucifer originally stood for are said to have survived the many centuries of Christian repression and those who have held to them are exemplified by the genius Leonardo da Vinci, whose little-known heresies are startlingly displayed in the encrypted symbols of his work. So who was Lucifer? Yet the horned devil was only an incarnation of the old woodland deity Pan, while Lucifer was originally a personification of the planet Venus and its goddess.
