This 256 page book and 176 photographs reveal the journey very singular by Wilhelm von Plüschow (1852-1930), who takes us to the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Greece, as well as to the terraces of his house-workshops in Naples and Rome or on the island refuge of Capri, witness of the forbidden loves of the European intelligentsia to end under the charm of the East with these clichés of Egypt, Tunisia, which take us through these pages to Algiers.- An exhibition took place at Nicole Canet's Galerie Au Bonheur du Jour in Paris.
