She as a person gave the new Black movement in Germany during the 1980s direction. Marion Kraft was a personal friend of Audre Lorde. She uses essays, speeches and interviews of Lorde to document her great literary and political transnational influence. Lorde often addressed topics like equality and difference in her texts. By citing some personal letters, Kraft also shows the special relationship between her and Lorde.
