(* 6. August 1928; ? 22. Februar 1987) war ein amerikanischer Künstler, Filmemacher und Verleger sowie Mitbegründer und bedeutendster Vertreter der amerikanischen Pop Art.
Andy Warhol lebte seine Homosexualität nicht öffentlich, obwohl er sie, darauf angesprochen, nicht abstritt. Indem er zeitlebens die (männliche) Homosexualität zu einem der zentralen Fixpunkte seines Schaffens erhob, förderte er die Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Thema.
