Arthur Rimbaud Jean Nicolas Arthur Rimbaud
(* 20. Oktober 1854 in Charleville; † 10. November 1891 in Marseille) war einfranzösischer Dichter, Abenteurer und Geschäftsmann.

Er gilt als einer der Großen der französischen Lyrik, sexuelle und schwule Themen finden sich in seiner Lyrik häufig, sowohl offen als auch verschlüsselt. Zum öffentlichen Durchbruch verhalf ihm Paul Verlaine, mit dem der 17jährige Rimbaud für etwa 2 Jahre ein schwules Verhältnis hatte.
