(* 5. Juli 1889; ? 11. Oktober 1963) war ein schwuler französischer Schriftsteller, Regisseur und Maler.
Cocteau hatte nicht nur schwule, sondern neben Beziehungen zu Männern (u. a. Jean Marais) auch mehrere Beziehungen mit Frauen, darunter Natalia Pawlowna Paley (1905−1981), einer Romanow-Prinzessin. Er veröffentlichte mehrere Werke, in denen er Homophobie scharf kritisierte.
