Alexander der Große bzw. Alexander III. von Makedonien
(* 20. Juli 356 v. Chr.; ? 10. Juni 323 v.

»The Nature of Alexander« is a popular, non-academic, very readable biography of Alexander the Great. It is Mary Renault's only non-fiction book. It's not a »neutral« book, but presents Alexander in a very favorable light. Nevertheless, it's a »popular« work, but by no means devoid of authority.
